Wondrous Welcomes Richard Goold as CEO
We are really pleased to share that Richard Goold has joined Wondrous as CEO. This is the first CEO for Wondrous and Richards’ role will be to lead the execution of our strategy and ensure that we are delivering on our purpose to
help our clients create organisations where people flourish so that businesses can thrive.
We have seen the start of an awakening and realisation in organisations that it is only through their people that they can be successful (and in many cases survive). Wondrous has grown year on year by working in true partnership with clients who want to attract, recruit, develop, engage and excite the very best talent and we are excited by the opportunity we have to build on our solid foundations. Our commitment is unfailing and Richard joining us as CEO is a key milestone in our journey to change the world of work forever.
Richard has worked in consulting for over 20 years at various organisations, most recently KPMG and Moorhouse, where he has been the Lead Partner for People & Talent for the past 10 years (and Managing Partner for the past 2 years). He has significant experience, knowledge and passion around the people and talent agenda and an understanding of the challenges that businesses are wrestling with.
Richard lives in South London with his wife and two children aged 14 and 12. When he isn’t working, he can be found by the side of a hockey, football or rugby pitch watching his boys (or in the car if it is pouring with rain).
Richard says, “From my very first meeting with the Wondrous team I could feel the significance and power of their values. Through every discussion I had, the opportunity to be part of the journey ahead became more compelling and my excitement palpable. There are very few organisations where there is such alignment between their heritage, their capability, their ambition and the opportunity in the market to have such a significant impact. I am excited by the opportunity ahead and being able to harness the significant and unparalleled knowledge and experience of my colleagues and our broader network.”
Mark Campbell, Chairman says, “On behalf of the Board, I am really pleased to welcome Richard to Wondrous. We are really excited that, based on his experience of driving growth, his knowledge of the consulting market, his leadership abilities and – most important our close values alignment – we have made a great appointment. We know that Richard will help us build on those things that are special about Wondrous. The care we have for our clients and each other, our magical approach that creates connection, empathy and long-lasting relationships and our confident and bold partnering to solve business problems.
Our mission is to help our clients create organisations where people flourish so that business can thrive.
