Creating an inclusive culture

Our client, one of the UK’s largest financial services organisations, was passionate about engendering an inclusive environment.  In particular, they wanted to create a culture where men and women could thrive equally – recognising it was a traditionally male environment.

They were looking for tailored solution that would build a strong, diverse executive pipeline and create ripples of change across the organisation. This was not just about developing women leaders but shifting the culture.

What we did

Building a movement for change

We co-created an agile modular programme over 6 months, with on-going culture monitoring and peer ‘pods’. Leaders collaborated to solve business challenges and provided bold, challenging feedback to the Executive Team. Learning focused on unconscious biases and valuing difference to expand perspectives. It bought together male and female leaders with the expectation and commitment that they drive change more broadly in the organisation. They were supported by genuine sponsorship and dialogue from the executive.
